The Linux-base miniature personal computer known as Zonbu went on sale today. Zonbu is a min-pc that is purchased along with a two year agreement, much like a cell phone. It is sold the same way a Mac Mini is, without peripherals. The price? 100 dollars with a two year agreement. The price of everything all together can run you close to 517.95 for the two year agreement and 100GB of space online.
Prices for storage with a two year payment are:
$12.95 a month for 25GB
$14.95 a month for 50GB and
$19.95 a month for 100GB.
Everything is stored online
Other stats are:
Intel-compatible ultra-low power CPU
512 MB RAM, 4 GB flash storage
6 USB ports, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet
PS/2 keyboard and mouse port
You can order it here along with whatever accessories you may need.
Personally, I’m waiting on the Eee PC.
