Yes! Yahoo Widgets 4 is now available for download. This version has a lot of cool new features for users as well as developers of Widgets.

Speedier than ever
o We heard you, and we’ve made big improvements in performance
o Uses up less of your system memory compared to past versions

Widget Dock: Live, at-a-glance view
o Mini Widgets bring updates and live info to you in a compact package
o Keep your widgets neatly organized with the new Widget Dock

New Widgets by Yahoo!
o Gallery Widget: Browse the Widget Gallery witout opening a web browser
o Flickr Widget: Hooray! Upload, tag, and display Flickr photos.

Automatic Widget Updates
o When an update is available for one of your running Widgets, you’ll get an indicator in the Dock.
o While this magic only exists for our Yahoo!-built Widgets right now.

Improved User Experience
o A new “hidden” state for Widgets which allows the user to run a Widget without displaying its full interface on the screen.
o Widgets running in “hidden” mode continue to display live updates (or vitality) in their tile in the Dock.

And, some things are the same as ever…
o The most Widgets available anywhere online… over 4,000 and still growing!
o Works on both Macs and Windows PCs

First bug already
When you make operations with taskbar (e.g. lock the taskbar) Yahoo widgets shut down.
