Bains Software today announced the release of SpamSweep 1.4, the latest release of its spam filter for Mac OS X. The software is an advanced bayesian spam filter offering several filtering technologies, including domain and relay blacklists, sender whitelisting, and a bayesian filter to automatically delete spam messages before they’re downloaded by an email client. This version adds the ability to trash messages without marking them as spam, and fixes several bugs. SpamSweep is priced at US$25 and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
