Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 9A343 has been seeded to developers.
New features include:
- HIToolbox provides new HIRect/Point/Shape-based Window Manager API for resolution independence compatibility
- Tab support in Terminal
- Terminal now lets you save a multi-window configurations through workspaces which are available through the “Terminal” menu.
- QuickLook APIs have been updated
Apple says Leopard will be out in “Spring 2007″.
Also, AppleInsider found in DVD Player’s settings file (I believe com.apple.DVDplayer.plis or something similar) that Blu-Ray and High-Definition DVDs are supported!
This is what was found:
“sd dvd folder” = “VIDEO_TS”;
“hd dvd folder” = “HVDVD_TS”;
“blu ray folder” = “BDMV”;?
This may start a rumor of the next-generation Macs to include Blu-Ray drives.
