Missed iPhone Features

author alang

In early January, Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone at MacWorld 2007 and showed off some pretty cool features. But, there were some features they never got around to showing.

At the Keynote Event, Jobs first shows the icons for four apps he’ll be showing the conference attenders: Phone, Photos, Calendar, and Texting. The only thing is that Jobs never got around to show Calendar on stage. The reason why is that the Calendar app wasn’t even finished in time for the Keynote (confirmed by David Pogue, New York Columnist).

You can see a quick glimpse of the iPhone Calendar, when Jobs is done talking about the Phone. When he would go to “Calendar”, all he would get is a static-picture of the app showing what it looks like.

Other features missed were “Google Directions and Traffic”,? “iTunes Ringtones”, and an alternative way to scroll through songs.

You can see a video that explains these overlooked features of the iPhone, as Actioncorp TV posted a video on YouTube.
There is a higher quality video on their website.

“Apple introduced the iPhone at Macworld San Francisco 2007 in January. The iPhone is expected to be released in June 2007, but a teaser ad is expected during the Academy Awards on Sunday Feb 25th, 2007″
