
Mac developer Phill Ryu today announced the “Fake Leopard Screenshot Contest.” Eighteen Mac OS X developers have joined in the affair, and nearly US$900 in prizes are available. An excited Gedeon Maheux, head of the Iconfactory, recounted, “When Phil first told us about his contest idea, all of the factory workers reacted with “That’s plain cool!”.
We are all looking forward to seeing what the Mac community comes up with for their ideal version of Leopard. It may not turn out to be fact, but it will be fun and original none-the-less. Crack open the Photoshop people!”

The three winners will be announced on Monday, July 24th.
