Core 2 Duo MacBooks available for… pre-order?

Is this right? Worth believing? Seems pretty convincing as Play.com is taking pre-orders of “Core 2 Duo MacBooks”.

Play.com says that the MacBooks will be due for release on Nov. 13th.
