When basically every other MP3 player out there has an FM tuner, microphone and such (many more features than the iPod), have basically the same capacity, aren't iTunes dependant (drag and drop into the HD icon basically) and are cheaper, the iPod's then suck.

on and on and on about how the iPod sucks. Why? No FM tuner? It's an MP3 Player. One popular purpose of buying an MP3 player is to get away from what I call "FM Dependency". Now how about one with an HD Radio tuner? that would be amazing. Okay so it's not skinnable? ... and? The iPod OS is very stable. It does what it's supposed to do and that's play and organize music well. Photo and Video are extras.

Oh, okay. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon enough. iPod's are pretty bad though, Rockbox makes them decent.

Don't use iTunes. It's horrible. On Linux you can install a program called Rockbox onto the iPod (for Windows and Mac OS X as well) and it completely upgrades the iPod by replacing the OS on it. You have more abilities, can play better games (iDoom) and can theme the iPod. Plus, you don't need iTunes. All you have to do is drag and drop music files onto the iPod drive (new folders are essentially playlists or sub-directories for more folders of playlists).

Recently I've been visiting apple.com just to nag on them to release iTunes for Linux and checking if they have :-)

I'm one of those who are not satisfied with xp and will not switch to vista because of the price and constant problems with MS' new system. Then since I don't have enough money for vista I definitely don't have enough for a 24-inch iMac (that I dream of). The only solution (at the moment) was to switch to Ubuntu.
