Apple seeded a developer release of Mac OS X 10.4.9 (8P2120).
The release seems to be “accelerating”, possibly indicating the product may be near release.
“Apple seeded the 8P2117 build during Macworld Expo just last week, and has now released 8P2120 to developers [yesterday].”
The 10.4.9 update is supposed to fix 40+ problems.
The 10.4.8 update was released on September 29th, 2006.
This 10.4.9 update could be leading up to Leopard (10.5), and might be one of the final updates for Tiger (unconfirmed).
