Apple has seeded yet another build of one of the last updates for Mac OS X Tiger.
The Mac OS X 10.4.9 update could possibly be the last update for Mac OS X Tiger leading up to Leopard, as Leopard is build 10.5. Leopard is expected to be released around the time of the World Wide Developers Conference.
The 10.4.9 update is a combo update, meaning it can install on any Mac OS? 10.4.X installation. The size of the updates are 163.47 MB for PowerPC Macs and 315.45MB for Intel Macs.
One interesting fix that appears in this update is a fix to ImageIO that was affecting image import speeds.
