Apple announced that they have teamed-up with several airline companies to make iPods integrated with the airplanes.
The iPods will be able to connect to the seats to be charged, and also allow users to watch movies on the screens located on the back of each seat.
It is presumably up to the airplane companies.
It is unknown if it is only available in first-class, or if it can be used throughout the entire plane.
“In-flight iPod connectivity will be available to Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United passengers beginning in mid 2007. Additionally, Apple is working with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to bring even more leading airlines in-flight iPod connectivity in the future.”
