I've been looking at a number of tiger visual styles and while most of them are stunning I realized that not all of them are exactly correct.
What i mean is that the skin for the taskbar shouldn't be applied to the folders. As in tiger, applications and explorer were brushed. Only the menus and taskbar weren't.
So i'm thinking of making a visual style where the folders (windows explorer) will look different from the task bar.
However I having some trouble understanding how stylebuilder works. Does anyone know where i can find a guide on that program? I've look at the site that sells it but nothing is listed.
i saw that link to but that link really isn't much a guide. It doesn't explain what each feature does. It doesn't even explain to me how i can resize the bar and etc. It just tells me how to change the color of the start button.
Well, it appears to me that you will just have to tinker with these tools if you want to be more familiar with the app, like I'm sure the other VS Themers have done (as it seems that no step by step help is available)
Frustrating? sure, that's why we give Kudos to the people that persevere and release these nice apps, themes and skins.
