Smooth Fonts Help
These are my current settings, and the way they are set i SHOULD have smooth fonts. Instead what i have are dark fuzzy fonts

Re: Smooth Fonts Help
Set the method to smooth fonts to Cleartype in the effects dialog box.

Re: Smooth Fonts Help
Use this to adjust the cleartype settings. http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...ner/Step1.aspx The adjustment would help you get rid of any extra fuzziness. Also, don't expect Cleartype to render fonts the Mac way. Windows font smoothing is not very good.

Another thing, if you're using Styler only for the toolbar then you can turn the rest of the features off. That way you don't have to constantly run it in the background eating up some resources.

Re: Smooth Fonts Help
Did you even try the link I gave you? It's supposed to adjust the cleartype contrast settings to make them look better. The default look ghastly on many computers, even mine, esp. if you have a CRT. Try that link, adjust your settings and then report if it doesn't get better. Here's a screenshot of my desktop, http://www.osx-e.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=3317&c=507

Re: Smooth Fonts Help
Well, not entirely. You are supposed to have Cleartype on *if* you are using normal, unmodded fonts like most of us do. Cleartype should be off only if you use a font modded to use grayscale rendering. In your case, you're doing the latter but never bothered to tell us that. So you were given general instructions to turn on Cleartype..
