Alright, some I'm using the freebie cut of WB4.5, and I have a little issue. I can't find a darn Brushed theme that will work right on my comp! This is what the best one, Steve's, is skinning like:

Note what the white arrow is poiting at, and I sure don't mean the text. The darn thing is redarkening too soon then starting the pattern over again. Steve's theme does this odd pattern the least, so I use it. Sure, I've had plenty of experience with WB. I was just mostly into the more vintage Aqua style (the thing with the stripes a la Jaguar -I think-), but then got bored and switched to doing Aero styles for a long long time. But they went black and I went blech, and went to trying uniques and eventually came back to square one-Mac making. But back then I had tried a few Brushed themes and didn't have this problem. Back then, though, I thought the idea of making your highlights in the menus brown gray was uninspiring and bland, especially since every theme I was finding at the time did the same boring highlight color, and stuck with pinstripes.
OK, so you didn't need Ali's WB history 101. But point is, at the time, the brushed themes worked fine. Now I even tried reverting back to those old ones. Now they act as bad or worse than this with titlebar skinning. IMHO, it's something WB related.
My big Q is, could it be that I have a freebie WB and it doesn't like to behave well with brushed anymore? Or is it a weird theme compatibilty glitch? And/or does anyone have the same issue and/or knows a theme that doesn't have this trouble?
Geez, I used a lot of and/ors there.
That pic came out kinda big. Sorry about that. :Frown:
