MSN keeps your contacts in an SQL database. Try exiting and reopening WLM. If this doesnt work, log back into the old MSN , export your contacts to a local file and then log back into WLM and import your contacts.

WLM is a very good IM app... but since it comes from M$ house it may have tons of probs and security holes.
