does anyone know a good skin/theme of ichat for trillian 3 basic? any version i have found (including the itrullian here) has not worked for me. help me out please.

I could be wrong but I didn't think that the free version of Trillian could be skinned.

you can but you have to do it manually by opening the skins folder and replacing the original skin files with your own skin files. =)
(by the way right now as a skin for trillian im using quicksilver. i got it from the trillian website. it looks pretty cool but dosnt exactly resemble iChat)

i like these skins for trillian. theres a bunch in there so im sure you could find at least one that looks nice. the only thing i dont like is no iChat bubbles for the messages. theres a way to put your names in the bubble, which is good i guess, though its long and time-consuming, and im too lazy to do it. but if you're manually changing the skins for trillian, i guess you could make this skin what its meant to be.

hmmm,...it should work with the danimator skins,but there will be some features that won't work on basic,just try to put the skins in your skins folder...if that dosesn't work,you'll have to replace the default files i think ,and the bubbles probably won't work at all...but try,...for that there's a xml file included with the skin package,follow the instructions and then replace the text of the icq and msn smileys in the xml file with the one of the aim smileys so youll have the same emoticon for all accounts...to put yourname in the bubbles just edit the pictures in the included avatar folder with photoshop or something similar

Those skins worked for me and I'm using the basic version, just replace the default ones with the iChat ones.

^You had to go that far? I have version 3.1 basic and this one nice iChat skin that works for it fine.
I don't remember the maker but I remember I got it from DeviantArt. Do a little skin searching and you'll find it. Bug me instead and I'll go do it myself. Or roll eyes and walk away. If you wanna gamble it go ahead.

yeah,...think so as well,normally there shouldn't be bigger probs to use the skin on trillian basic....the skins you mean were done by danimator and were already mentioned with a link in this thread i think...
