Recently, I have bought a new Computer (Heward Packard, AMD Athlon 3200+...) and I have installed Window Blinds.

When I activated the skin: Mac OS X Tiger, everything seems fine. But when I go into windows such as Properties, the Task bar or the bar is back to Default Classic XP Theme.

After that, I try restarting to see if it's fixed, but things get even worse. The Task bar also goes back to Default Classic XP Theme.

I have been trying to figure this out for days after I bought my new computer, but I have no luck yet. I really need to figure this out because I dislike Default XP themes and I find Window Blinds a great program.

If someone could possibly help me out with this and solve this problem, I would appreciate it a whole lot.

I don't know why that happens either, but I had the same problem using the lastest version of windowsblind a few months ago. Since then, I have not used it anymore. I hope someone knows the reason of why this is happening. I had the same problem with start menu and all the skins going to classic, but for my good luck I created a restore point before I installed the apps, and I was able to recover from it.

I don't actually no never happened to me and I have the latest version!

I remember this happened to me once, but Idon't know what I did.

Just try going to the windowblinds prefs and just reapply skins, or even test with other skins to see if the same thing happens, then if all else fails, go to the Stardock site and look there for possible solutions, etc.

I've tried both of your suggestions... Posting at Stardocks might be my last choice.

Probably a missing file or somthing similar..try an uninstall and resintall

Maybe Mmgui is right. A fresh reintall can be effective, yet it might make an impact on previously installed styles. That's why I use StyleXP.
