Can't Boot up
Ok, I tried uninstalling the Visual OS BootLoader, and it gave me some weird error, I can't remember what. But I rebooted some time later, and when It boots up, it gets to the login screen ok (where it shows the users), but whenever I select which user I go to, it tries to run the Visual OS Bootloader, which doesn't work properly because of the defective un-install. So, now I can't boot up windows, since the Visual OS Bootloader tries to start before explorer.exe. I can't go into safe mode. The only thing I can do is go into safe mode with command prompt, and type stuff into the command prompt. Can anybody help me to Fix this problem?

Re: Can't Boot up
What do you mean you can't go in Safe Mode?

You can only get to Windows by the DOS command? Gah, sounds like a mess.

What does it do instead of running the Visual OS BootLoader?

Re: Can't Boot up
You can reinstall Windows without reformattind the drive but that's not the best recomendation I am able to give you.

Re: Can't Boot up
U have to login on windows using an administrator account (press ctrl+alt+del twice on the logon screen) and enter as "administrator". If ur install used a master admin account, u need to know that pwd otherwise it wont work.

Once u're inside the admin account, right click my pc, pick "manage". Go to services, and look for visual os bootloader or something similar (can't remember the name), and then disable permanently that service.

That happened to me once.

Re: Can't Boot up
I couldn't do any of that stuff that you guys advised. Whenever I tried logging on as a normal member (only one on the computer), It would just freeze on the background image of what used to be the loader application. Whenever I tried logging on as the administrator it gave me a run-time error.

It's ok, I finally just said f*ck it and wiped my hdd. At least, now I have an excuse to get the Photoshop CS3 beta

Re: Can't Boot up
Wiped your HD? You should have just reinstalled Windows without formatting.

Sorry about the trouble, Jake Moore.

Re: Can't Boot up
Ya know you could have just pressed escape or Ctrl+Alt+Del. That's how I made it quit.

EDIT:...when it wouldn't show up. (I like VOSBL. It's not the best, but it's cool.)
