Hey. Hmmm I don't know if this is the right place 2 go w/ this, but i'll try my luck

I'm experiencing some, well, not rly problems, but difficulties, I'd rather say, with my newly
installed Flyakite OSX v3.0. It all sort of lives up to what I've expected --
and more, uuh yeah! -- but on every friggin startup the system files updater pops up and reports that 3 files have been updated, and that changes will take effect on next startup,
etc etc.............. Sooo, I looked into the system files updater, and the 3 files are these:

wmccpl.dll
wmccfg.exe
wuauclt.exe

... But they won't update and get out of my hair! AAAh. hehe.
What am i supposed 2 do? Any1?

Uncheck system files updater in the start menu>Flyakite>tools>current user setting,good luck!

Well, that seems kinda obvious, but nope..isn't the case, I'm afraid. Mine's unchecked.

But now you've got me wondering - in my own noobish way - about another concern, Husaini HB. I've got 2 current user settings in my start menu ..... wtf?



They both look the same, but they're not! The one on the top's got aqua blue wallpaper and ubericon, which the lower one's hasn't. Why? Is it because I had an older vers. of Flyakite OSX before - think it was 2. someth. - and then updated to 3.0??? And, they're both active and relevant or what? hehe, seems kida weird.

But, I'll try checking system files updater, restart, and then uncheck and restart again. Maybe it'll help, who knows?

It should be only one jimmyjazz,if you want the best result,I think you have to start from the beginning,if I were you,I reinstall Windows(fresh),install all application that Flyakite has /makes the skins,i.effice 2003,trilian,windvd,winrar,I'm sure Flyakite will work perfect,of course you have to work bit hard but it's worth it I think

I CHECKED the System files updater in Current user setting - the one on top of the pic - restarted, and... problem solved!

As for having 2 different Current User Settings - think I'll just ignore it for now, and use the one that seems to have worked - the one on top, that is

well I told you buddy, you will get lots of help here.

Regarding the two user setting, I think because you copy the new version over the old version of flyakite. You should uninstall old version before installing new one.

^ That's most probably the case.
Isn't that a bit too extreme? A better way would be to just uninstall FAK (using the great uninstaller that comes with it) and then re-install it. That should also get rid of the double entries and iron out any other glitches resulting from a bad install.

But, are they both active then, the two Current User Settings, or is it just the one?

ojalord- Yeah, I think ur right. Don't think I'll go to the measures of reinstalling windows n shit.
Seems a little, urm, extreme.
Maybe I'll just reinstall Flyakite 3.0 and see what happens.
