Thanks Ghosty, but if I needed to revert that far, I can easily just hit a restore point.
See, once in a rare while, Microsoft actually makes something that WORKS> Shocking, isn't it?:p
And if by chance that didn't revert it I have the old installer on a burned CD around here...somewhere...lol.
I just hope and pray Apple fixes this and quick, because I like 5. It moves a lot zippier on my comp and media key responses (thanks to that Multi Plugin restoring them!)are as good or better than WMP.
As for the one above me screaming QT7 terrors, if only I knew where to find an old QT6 installer standalone, you might be saved.

Actually, that wouldn't be the worst idea for myself.
Wait. Now that I think of that, I just realized something. iTunes 4 worked smoothly after I fixed the skip issue initially, even AFTER I put in the QT7 beta, which doesn't have the buffer setting.
....Apple, move thine arse and fix this! And the QT7 incompatibilities too!
BTW, I even upgraded my 7 to Pro. Still no buffer setting. But I'm retrying iTunes now. Guess what. For some reason it isn't skipping. Either I'm not using Firefox (I am right now and I even scrolled like crazy to try to freak iTunes out but it didn't work!), some mysterious process was sucking iTunes of power, or Apple is playing a dirty trick on us by making us pay to enjoy our music properly.
Maybe it was a reboot? Nope, tried it after I rebooted and restored and reinstalled the stuff. I haven't rebooted it since, but I HAVE upgraded QT since.
Shame on you Apple. If you want more $$$ put your OS as available for regular biege boxes! That'll drain Microsoft dry and get them to make something OS worty.:|
EDIT-OK, it skipped a tiiiiiny bit just now and in tiiiiny bits ever so often but that's way better than it was and better than how WMP skips on my comp.:p
