Sorry to go off on a tangent, but that brought back memories.
I remember that my first computer was a 486 Lenox with 16 MB of Ram and a 250 MB hard-drive. Back then, that was an awesome computer, since most computers still only had 4 MB of Ram and a 100 MB hard-drive. I ran Windows 3.11 for Workgroups with Dos 6.22 and later used Calmira to emulate Windows 98 when it came out. My next computer was a Sony Vaio that I purchased for $75.00 from a buddy. It even had a tv tuner and a 3D application interface running on Windows 98. It could barely play the first Sims game and I soon gave it away to a buddy for a birthday present, but not until I got my Compaq laptop with Windows ME on it for $500.00 from my boss. I soon found that ME was not useful for anything other than watching the blue screen of death, so I upgraded to XP Professional SP1. That was before the days of good spyware blocking software so eventually the computer had a huge spyware problem because AOL would not even block ads at that time. One day, it got out of control and I just chucked it across the room in a fit of anger and that was the end of that (battery wouldn't even work without being plugged in all the time). After that one, I got the current eMachines and it is working smooth as butter. When the Mac mini came out, I knew I had to have one, so I waited and waited while I accumulated money and packed it away until the day came when I could spend it on a new Mac. I finally heard that a new version of the Mac Mini would come out with 512 MB of ram versus the 256 MB of ram in the old version, so I went to Compusa and they said, "Go to the Apple store for the new hardware." So I went. They had two to choose from: a 512 MB Ram 1.25 Ghz or a 512 MB Ram 1.42 Ghz with Superdrive and both wireless options. I was in heaven. I had saved up around $1000.00 at the time and immediately picked the more powerful one. Now I use my XP box for Architecture programs like AutoCAD and use the Mac for everyday life. I am now saving up for a Dual Core MacBook Pro and a Sony Clie TH55.

At least it's a computer. Some of us didn't even have a computer in 1991.
P.S: (offtopic) What's up with the new smileys?

It was the fastest and most expensive configuration, I was only 6 years old.
