Is my iPod dead?
well making the story short

my ipod was on my jeans and my jeans got to the washing machine done

so is wet and doesnt do anything any suggestions?

No I wouldnt do that. i'd throw it at the wall as many times as it takes for it to magically transform into little microscopic plastic and metal bits. Then, I would drive to the Apple store and get a new one.

Anyway, I highly doubt that it has survived, you could get a specialist to have a look at it of course.

Go to the Apple Store and see if the genius bar can help, I'm sure your warrantee would cover it.

Wait, you added all those themes to your iPod, right? If so, you just killed your warrantee. So basicly, if your iPod wont start - your screwed.

Here’s a quick and easy solution:

1: Make sure that there are no damages on it that it’s gotten wet or toss in the washer.
2: Go to an electronic store that has a 30-day money back guarantee that sell IPods.
3: Buy the same class line of an Ipod which you had before, don’t for get to keep the receipt
4: Keep it for about 1-2 weeks.
5: Return the Broken Ipod back to the store and tell them that it spontaneously combusted as you were rocking out to Barney and friends.

umm modding it doesnt matter really i already took it out along time ago pluz i restored it so im safe and the ipod doest stores that unless u restore it of course i dont need to worry about that . and getting my new white ipod tomorrow lol jk. but i hope i do get a new one (i bought it on radioshack)

Well it still stores data, no matter what your warrantee shouldn't be covering it anymore.
