Well iGot iPhone! It is amazing. I got to the mall at 4:30am (mall is closed but we had power outlets for our laptops and stuff) there were people there who got there around 6pm Thursday night. I was the 15th in line. The mall opened at 8:00am for us to go in a wait in the mall. Now the wait sucked, but then again it wasn't too bad because the people in line were really cool. We didn't have to sit in line the whole time, we would hold each other's spots(go walk around the mall, get food and such) i know of a few guys who were trying to sell their spot in line for $350-$400 lol. I also made some new friends while in line. 2pm comes along, the apple store closes and they put up these black sheets of paper to black out the windows so we cant see in. 5pm they take them down and we can see in the store and how they set it all up for the iPhone release. 6pm WOOT WOOT they start letting us in about 14 at a time. It was great, I got the 4gig, and its still amazing xD
total wait time about 13 and 1/2 hours O.O
Anyone else have any stories about how they got an iPhone, post it here.
Lol. Glad I didn't go to get one. I hardly use my cell phone so waiting in line that long wouldn't be worth it. Well, I hope that you first gen. users find out all the bugs so people like me who will get getting the second generation iPhones don't have to put up with them :-p
Yeah. Right. But that still amounts to 12500 Rupees (INR). It's not much for a phone considering a really low-end mobile (with no colour display, extra apps, etc) costs around 3000 currently. I might be able to acquire one. Eventually.
