Format without disc?
Hey.

I am looking to format my hard drive... but I do not have the Windows XP disc.

Can I still format it? or will I have buy another copy?

Do you have a second computer, or a friends?

Take the hard drive you want WIPED, and slave it from the master drive of your friend's or another computer, and then go to the RUN menu, and type FORMAT (name of the slaved drive directory; for instance like FORMAT D:, and it will format that drive under that directory name...), and sit back and watch how it WIPES your azz...ahem...I mean DRIVE, that is.



I know this works, because I've already wiped 4 Hard Drives doing this technique, without the WinXP Restore Disk!
