Re: The best graphics card/cards?
Wow, i guess you're rich or something... Holy **** that was the cost of my entire cpu... (without the new stuff i've got, but it's still amazing).

Whatever, anyone decides how to spend their money, and if you have that amount, why not to do it...
But that PC will be a video monster... i can't imagine playing in that machine... you'll need a big monitor, too

And some good games!

Re: The best graphics card/cards?
From what I read is that there is no quad SLI out yet, Nvidia has not even made a bridage SLI connector for the 7950GX2 has well has drivers that will support them. Has of right now the 7900GX2 is just a stand alone card. This was done before with Asus with the two 7800GTs

IMO I wouldn't go with a beffy video card at this time since DX10 is coming out, and DX10 games will be out on the market faster then it took ppl to go from AGP from PCI-E.

I'm making a system with a Conore E6400 or E6600 the video card that im going to have with it is going to be two or maybe just one 7600 GT KO 256MB or 7900 GS KO. 256/512MB

They will be my starting cards until the direct DX10 cards come out

Re: The best graphics card/cards?
Hey MadMacs if your still looking at video card to get for your system, there is a limited card that came out which is the 7900 GTO its 100Mhz lower then the 7900 GTX. The card retails at $299.99. The GTX retails at $530-600, in some places online the GTO comes in with a $30 mail-in rebate plus "Hitman: Blood money"

Just saw the card come in and thought I'd let you know
