The best graphics card/cards?
Hi as some of you know i'm building myself a new pc so far i have a (a8n32-sli-deluxe) motherboard and a (amd anthlonx64 4600 dual core) processor.

Now I want to get the graphics. I was just woundering what would be the best graphics I could have. 2xnvidia 7900gtx in sli? I am able to run 2 graphics cards at full speed but just need your help finding the best set up. I am looking to get a dell 24inch monitor so the graphics needs to be good.

thanks
-MM

Re: The best graphics card/cards?
The first thing you should worry about is that you will have to spend about $1000 just in the display and one graphic card.

Re: The best graphics card/cards?
I think one graphic card will be fine, maybe just get one graphic card but a really good one, like a GeForce 7950 Overclocked.

Look at this: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/349

It's basicly two cards in one.

I'm affraid that card is not what i was looking for, I kinda wanted the best card money could buy and also I would be looking for 2 Graphics cards running in sli mode (Nvidia) I can't run ati in crossfire!

Yeah that looks goob but still 2x nvidia 7900gtx in sli mode would be faster but I have to look at would the extra money be worth the extra performance!

Re: The best graphics card/cards?
What exactly will you be doing?

Having two 7900 sounds like a graphic editor's setup.

Re: The best graphics card/cards?
You should think about what you really need in the PC not what you just want to bost about. Friends will soon forget about your "monster" machine but no point in spending huge amounts of money on the performance you don't necessarily need. If you want to become a graphic designer then it's a totally different deal but if not, then you could save yourself some bucks by learning the difference between "need" and "want" .
