In Internet Explorer, no matter what version you have, you can override the fonts on a page:

How to do it:
  1. Open Internet Options... (doesn't matter how)
  2. Click the Fonts Button a the bottom of the first tab
  3. Set the fonts how you want them (Lucida Grande would be good)
  4. Click OK.
  5. Now, click the Accessabillity button at the bottom of the first tab.
  6. Click the check box Ignore fonts on pages (it's something like that)
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click OK on the main window and volia!

Hello all
In Reference to the window fonts tip- would that mess up some windows application and/or 3rd party applicaion with that override ?
-just wondering I am still learning the complexity of computers

Let me add this:
After you do that, every program using an Internet Explorer engine will show that font. Some programs may be messed up; just reduce or enlarge the font.

To do this with Firefox you have to:
  1. Go to the Settings
  2. Choose Content
  3. By the fonts at the bottom, click advanced...
  4. Go to User Defined in the drop-down menu at the top
  5. Make all fonts the way yo want them.
  6. Click OK
  7. Click OK on the main Settings window and volia!

Did you know you can kill youself by clicking here?

...and you can customize your start menu? Just right click on a blank spot on the start menu and click Proprities. Then click the Customize... button.
