Thanks nylock, ive always wanted a music production area. Like i said i bought that whole setup(including computer) for less than 200 dollars. No its not the most professional but it gets the job done for podcasting and making midis for a freeware video game company. Honestly i like my imac g3 better than the new intel core duo one. I feel like its modern and new at the same time. And for 50 bucks i had to take it!

nylock, it actually barely runs garageband. it does run other recording softwrae like older versions protools, logic and another one that i think is called tracktion. But just for simple one or 2 track recordings i use audacity. the imac runs os 10.3 suprisingly good.

Alexander, Its always great knowing other musicians. This is to everybody, if you are serious about music i highly recomend a seperate computer/area for music. Ive noticed that since ive created my little setup ive been more productive and improved in music greatly. I can help any musician
here with the gear to buy just gimme a budget and i will find enough gear to record your little sister and her friend who just started violin:p just kidding, but i can find you enough gear to make you feel professional.

That's true, it is great to know other musicians. More and more I feel temptation and vehemence to teach myself to play organ since I like organ music and pipe organs in general. But only I have one room to combine computer and music together. When I am listening to music it inspires me for writing a poetry.

I really want some kind of music workspace. I play drum set, piano and orchestra percussion, drumming would be a little hard to record on my computer (because you need to mic in certain places, like the Toms, Hi-Hat, Bass etc.)
