This was a sickeningly sweet deal. I was at a mall and a friend of mine saw the iMacs in a real estate office. So I walked in to look and the guy asked if I was buying a house. I said that I was just admiring the computers cuz I collect old Apple computers. He then said that he was phasing them out because they were being replace with new Dells. (why they would do such a thing I wonder...) anyhow, he said that he'd sell them to me. I asked how much and he asked my offer. I said maybe 2 or 3 hundred (US dollars). He then decided that he'd sell them $100 a piece. I'm like whoa! He said that they didn't use them for much at all and didn't really know how to use them anyway. So that's the basic story. so now I've got a gleaming white eMac next to my Cube, and I should be getting the iMac G3 soon. \/\/00+! I took some pics and will post them soon (maybe tomorrow).

On the eMac screen there you see it booted into OS 9, but it also has Panther on it too which is what I'm using right now cuz OS 9 doesn't seem to be able to detect the AirPort card.
