Anyone have an iMac Intel?

I'm thinking about getting one instead of a PC (Yes, yes I know.. I can't make up my mind..).

I go to the Apple Store and say "Dang, those iMacs sure are good looking, I could make some really good music with that".

Then I look at the gaming PCs "Wow, Battlefield 2 would run extremely fast!".

The iMac is $1,757.00 and the PC is $2,084.00.

3.2 Duel-Core
GeForce 7800GTX 512MB
1GB RAM
160GB HD
19" Widescreen LCD

iMac:

2GHz Duel-Core
250GB HD
Radeon x1600 256MB
1GB RAM
20" LCD

I'm going for the iMac right now because I like Macs way more then PCs. And if I go with the iMac, I'll buy a USB - Piano keyboard from the Apple Store for Garageband.

If I were the one making the decison, I would not know what to choose. They're both good.

Okay, iMac it is (haha, tomorrow I'll be like "Maybe not...")

what is your priority? Music or gaming?

Games for fun, but right now I think I should be focusing on music.

I've always wanted a Mac, and it isn't as much as the PC.. So.. The iMac is great. But maybe I'll wait untill the next iMac comes out or maybe a PowerMac Intel.

But if you change to iMac you'll have no use for this site. Will you ditch us? lol (i hope not)

you still can play games on mac although the choice might be limited. I face the same situation too when I want to get a laptop last month. I really want to get the Mac Book Pro and I have the money for that. But unfortunately, my 3G data card that I'm using to connect to internet is not compatible with apple laptop. So I end up buying Acer laptop with the same spec as Mac Book Pro but with almost half of the price. I'm not happy because I can't get myself a mac, but the reason I'm buying laptop is so that I can work so not point if I get Mac Book Pro but I couldn't do any work on it.
