Beta
You all know that the best thing about google is that text that says ''Beta'' under alomost every service logos. Like GMail, Google Maps, Google Catalogs, Google Groups, Google Local, Google News, Google Scholar, Google Suggest, Google Video Search, Google Ride Finder and Froogle

This was my © Google list.Beta

almost everything on google's services are in beta because the google api hasn't even been around long enough to get out of beta, let alone the web app's they use the api to make. it'll be out of beta soon enough, but most everything on there is still being tested and worked on so it's still in beta format

You've got to respect Google though, everything they put their mind to always beats everything else hands down. That google maps Carey showed us is a brilliant example of that, especially after I thought Multimap.com was the best for maps. I never knew about the Google video search either, Google sohuld make their beta products more advertised.

Google is a simply brilliant group of people. I hope they come out with an internet browser. Googlet or something . I hear they hired some of the lead programmers from Mozilla so a browser might be in the works.

That is absolutely true about the developers of Google: they do an excellent job. Just look at the apps they have developed during last year and during this year too. Gmail is awesome, giving you the freedom and also the excellent benefits of a free email account. So far I think yahoo was the only one able to give 2gb mailbox, but not for free. Now we do have it for free, a very stable webmail service with more feactures and space been added very fast. Google maps is also another good example of that. I used to love yahoo maps, but after I saw google maps, oh men, that changed. Google search is also a good thing to have in your pc. It is a very powerfull searching tool, so powerfull that it can even find a message you sent through hotmail days ago.

If you mean that you did not know you could find a sent message in hotmail without been connected to it or without using OE using only google desktop search, yeah, it can. I did not know either until yesterday, when I spent like an 1 hour writing a 10 paragraph explanation email to a friend and when I tried to send it, there was an error, I pressed the back button and guess what? My just written email was gone. I got so mad for that, but thanks god I had google desktop search installed and I run it, because I know all kind of things get stored in a temp folder in Windows and I do not know for sure where exactly they are store. So, I run it and type hotmail.com, press search and surprise! There was my lost email, with the original text and also a screenshot of it. So if you guys did not know google search can do that and if the same thing that happened to me yesterday happen to you in the future, now you know you can go and get a copy of google desktop search and it will find it for you. I hope this info is of help to all.

the mozilla developer that is now a google employee is actually just a liason between google and mozilla to help develop better interoperabillity with google and mozilla based browsers. they are not at all planning a google designed web browser.
