Do you remember yor 1st computer?
Well, this is the first thread that i start, so hope you like it...

Yesterday, i was walking on my home, and when i entered to the garage (i usually never do it) i discovered a fossil, a museum piece, the grandmother of all the pc's (well, maybe not)....

My first PC.

Still in there, getting dusty and old. But, in a some kind of miracle, when i plugged it in, i discovered that its still working perfectly... Windows 95.

I wonder about the advance we have reached in computers world, 'cause that was my computer until 2001, when xp came out. So i started this thread for you to post your first computer specs, and notice the changes of the human kind and the computers in the last 10-15 years.

So here are my fossil specs:

IBM PS1 486SX processor
128 MB HD (C'mon even my cellphone has more capacity now)
8 MB RAM (2x4 MB)
No sound card
No USB port
No CD drive (It used to have an external one)
5 1/4 drive still working perfectly
Microsoft Office 6.0
Games: Microsoft Futbol (Microsoft Soccer)
640x480 screen resolution
No support for jpg, zip, rar or video files
OS: DOS, then Windows 3.11 and finally Windows 95

Here are some pictures.
P.S.: If you want it please call 1-800-TRASHPCS

Re: Do you remember yor 1st computer?
My 1st PC was a Kaypro with CP/M system. I had it when I was 6 years, and I dont remember a sh*t of it lol.

It was a goood machine. Then I got a 486dx2, and then an AMD Duron and then an Intel PIII, and then an Intel P4 and now my intel core duo.

Re: Do you remember yor 1st computer?
I can't remember the exact specs of my old pc, which was put together for me in 2001 when I arrived to USA. It was slow as hell but I got to love it a lot cause it was my first PC. It was a P3, with 6xx mhz of speed, running Windows 98, 20gb hd, and less than 128mb of ram. The only thing I still use from it is its 20gbs hd, which I have on my second pc with Hackintosh on it, and the old cd drive. Oh and I also have the first game I played on it, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of steel, which is a game lost forever that won't have any more parts built ever again.

Re: Do you remember yor 1st computer?
My first was one of those Apple IIs. Really, really old!

I cannot exactly member what the specs are, because I can't remember which Apple II it was.
