Administrator account in logon
|
Hello!
I have a question: is there any way to make Administrator account to show up in logon welcome screen like your account does. This, for example, happens when you install FlyakiteOSX 3.5: Now I have two accounts showed - Administrator and my. But how to do it without FlyakiteOSX?

It is a registry tweak, I can't remember how, but TweakXP (google it), PowerToys Tweak UI (microsoft) and some other registry tweakers such as tuneup utilities, etc.
Check out this "manual" solution.

@Khalua - thank you for the article, I have read and done this manually: now I have two accounts showed on my welcome screen.
@MadMacs - you know I had this question regarding my laptop. The reason why I do not usy FlyakiteOSX is because it's slow machine. My hardware:
Model: Toshiba Satellite 4090XDVD
CPU: Intel Celeron 400 MHz
RAM: 192 MB
HDD: IBM Travel Star 6.4 GB
Video: 16bit colors in 1024X768 mode.
If I will install FlyakiteOSX it would look weird because of graphic quality. This is just the only way how to work in best possible resolution mode but with 16bit graphic.
I will run out of space with FlyakiteOSX: my HDD is not that big, and last thing is not too many RAM - it's greater possible configuration on my laptop - 192 MB maximum.
The installation of FlyakiteOSX is only possible on my server.
The second reason why I want Administrator Account to show up is because my daddy sometimes uses my laptop, and it's really uncomfortable for him to work in the system that was somehow modded for OSX: he was worked in "usual" Windows XP, and he doesn't like styles. I can understand him.

It is very poor. Exactlu for student who have many classes and no time for emulation.

It is very poor. This machine is only for typing and web only.
I can even remember my first machine in 1991, this was the starting of my experience, at that time it cost $1,000 and it was one of the fastest machines:
CPU: AMD DX386 40MHz Processor.
RAM: 1 MB (256KB X 4 cards).
HDD: Seagate 20MB.
Video: 256 KB, 8 bit graphcis.
Motherboard: Intel.
Flooppy: 2 drives - 5 inches and 3.5.
So, my laptop relatively seems really powerfull one.
