ok...this is what i did. i use rklauncher....

1. figure out the hotkey for your widget engine
2. open notepad and type in the following

'--- start ---
set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WshShell.SendKeys "{F2}"
'--- end ---

where "F2" is the hottkey for your app. save this file as dashboard.vbs onto your desktop.

3. Drag this file to your rklauncher, then use the properties to change it to the dashboard icon...if you need that icon it is in the png sec. of the forum. Enjoy!

note: you can also save dashbaord.vbs in your mydocuments or other folder to avoid it from being on desktop, however make sure you make a copy shortcut on your desktop to drag to your dock, then you can delete it off your desktop.

yaa i actually did that last night, but thanks anyways, now if only i could make the effects the same as wen u click dashboard on a mac,

thanx its great. here is a tip right click on yahoo widgets in the notification area and then in the menu select preferances. select "use simple backround in heads up display". then when you click on dashboard in the dock the background will be more transperant and looks more like os x

I use object dock
