Hello guys, I'm new, my name is Nicola aka Mellon (at deviantart).
First of all I'd like to make compliments for this forum, congratulations, it's really full of useful things. I'm a hardcore modder, I'd mod everything that's moddable and I really love it.
I already use object dock (tried rk launcher but I didn't find it so useful), style xp and topdesk.
What brought me here was an insane desire for a dashboard emulation, so I started downloading the most common application that's yahoo widgets engine. Ok, it's cool, and something I really loved was the dashboard widget emulating the mac one.
But surfing here in the forum I've found that most of the people likes Avedesk better, so I tried it and I must say that I really like it, expecially the weather desklet (really COOL looking).
But I encountered some problems:
-A lack of avedesk desklets, there are really a few of desklets around, and without a proper gallery, I could find only 4 desklets really useful, am I looking in the wrong place?
-Is there a avedesk desklet that emulates the "dashboard" (like the yahoo widget one)?? I really want it!
So, in your opinion, which one is better? I've found avedesk more fast, light, and customizable. But Yahoo's more supported, more widgets, more organized.
