FIXED!. I really have no idea why the download script couldn't detect the file. It is already uploaded and I'd point it to the right file. So I have to upload it again, and start it all over.

I installed it no problem... it looks great and fast

only thing is, its not working, i tried looking for "mp3", "doc", "exe, "whatever.jpg" and nothing comes out...

can anyone help me? i really want to keep this program, coz i hate the windows search...

yeah i figured that out yesterday,

i doenloaded, installed and it finished indexing all my sith...

still aint working... dont know why, and it sucks coz it looks so clean i reaffirm! haha

too bad... thanks tho!

try uninstalling MacSearch and then reinstalling it now that you have google desktop

MacSearch doesn't use GDS, it uses locate, and when it first ran it should have made a file called files.dbs,
If the dbs file is there, try deleting it and starting macsearch.
