This app is pretty old, but I only stumbled across it today and thought it's worth a mention. It makes your progress bars and buttons OS X-ish on how they are animated, with pulsing effects and the such.

this program is in my to do list for a long time. I've no idea why I haven't add it to the download section yet. I'll add it later today.
