Re: System tray
as gMan says, it is possible if you are using Objectbar and IF your OB theme comes with a system tray add-in. if not running OB, replacing system tray cons would involve hacking the system. check out Iceman's Emulation Page to guide you: http://www.jonmega.com/iceman/stuff/systray/

Re: System tray
You'll need a tool called Reshacker and use it to modify system dlls that contain those icons, see a list here: http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/hacklist.html

An easier way is to use Flyakite OSX. OR as Kinsemon and GMac have said, use OB.

Re: System tray
OB is probably the best software to mimic the one in a mac... so if you're into changing the system tray icons right now, you better try the OB..

here's the link:

Re: System tray
Well, there are ways, I suppose, to obtain programs that require buying. But, sadly, that info cannot be shared on these fora. OB is not just for the menubar in taskbar, it can be used to create any kind of menu/dock/bar etc (just have a look at some of the themes it ships with). And it allows you to access the system tray on it with custom icons.
