Hi guys,
I love the finder clone I am using it instead of my computer so to speak. It has completed my mac conversion.. The only thing is that I am having difficulties with the icons are not appearing right as they do in explorer. Could this be from me using IconPackager to change all of my icons due to my lazyness or what? I am confused guys I can attack a screenshot, besides that thanks guys..

IconPackager, while time saving, can be a bit dodgy. It seems to have done to you what it did to me - not change all the icons. Your best bet - in my opinion - is to do away with icon packager and just install FlyAKite because that changes every icon, not just the odd few.

thanks i got it to work... anyways I have one quick question on nexplorer anyway i can get it to open up shortcuts etc.. etc... the things explorer opens up instead of explorer cause i am just a stupid perfectionist and it drives me crazy how when i click on my local disk avedesk shortcut on my desktop it opens it up in explorer and not nexplorer.. any ideas?

I recommend you just use Flyakite. I ditched IconPackager a while ago. Also the HD icon and folder icon are files inside the theme directory.

BTW why isn't there text in the title bar of NeXplorer in your screenshot?

BTOW the real Finder (since Panther) is brushed.

No I think that was an older screen shot I got all my skins working for Nexplorer I just wish it would open up folders and stuff too. I love the program and it works great I guess it is hard to explain.. This is my desktop as of yesterday btut since then I have added a couple more things to my finder bar well bascially just a launch menu. But my nexplorer looks and works wonderfully I just was wondering if I Could get it to I guess be my default my shortcut/folder opening program but I have figured it out it is impossible. Such as the folder My Documents off of my dock it opens in explorer. I would like for it to open up into Nexplorer instead.. Anyways it is no big deal..
