I was thinking about writting a browser that will mock the looks of Safari. I dont know how resonable this is though. I would cerntianly have to use the IE or Firefox engine. If somethinks i should go along with this, let me know. or maybe there is one out there already. if so, let me know.

There's already mock skins of Safari for IE and FF, forgot where I saw them. Probly at wincustomize or on the mozilla theme page.

But nobody's done a Camino skin yet....

Writing new safari base on firefox engine would be awesome. It is much different then u using skins for it. Before this, all the safari clone using IE engine.

OK, I am going to build a mozilla based browser that will mock the looks of OSX Safari. I am not going to be able to push this out overnight, like I do most apps. But I think I can handle it.

if there is anyway to include a way to run firefox extensions that would rock also. and a bookmark interface like safari's would be grand.

I am using the Mozzilla engine, that Firefox uses..I am actuall going to rip the code i need for the source ball, and compile olnly what is needed for me to do this. I will have to research the code to see how to do the extensions...but I am sure the bookmarks will not be a porblem. I am ripping code right now, to compile what i need...searching thru all this code will take a day or so.

You know, wala was right. Maybe that`s a good idea to make the browser like Camino?? I find it the best one when I was surfing the net in mac. What d`ya think?? Just have a look at this idea..
