Hey guys, have you heard about this project before?

iTheater

I found it when browsing the Wincustomize website and it sounds promising. If you check this link, also check the picture page on that website for screenshots of the project's progress so far.

Here is the official explanation of what it is, which is found at the official website:

"iTheater is an open source project that will be a media center application for OSX, not just the Mac Mini. We are currently programing this application, so check back often to see our progress! Any help is greatly appreciated, so please feel free to join and volunteer!"

Visit it and tell me what do you think about it.

From the looks of the photo gallery, it seems pretty interesting. But isn't it strange that they seem to be imitating Windows XP Media Center Edition?

Ya it looks alot like windows media center. Maybe they will change it more when its finished

of course it looks like Windows Media Center. that is the whole point, to create a media center software for the mac, so we can use it like we do windows media center pc's

That's true, but what if they will copy Microsoft's software and take it as their own?
