Hi all,

I am using the latest findexer and made the "load findexer in every explorer window by default" box was checked however, every time i open explorer its just the normal view. I know the topic has been closed but i need help from master here becuase i am newbie in mac os emulation.

I read Zartheit's answer to fix the problem that tell to

1. remove Finderbar completely and apply a registry tweak to restore the treeview
2. then go to Tools>>Folder Options>>File Types>>then find "Folder" in the "registered file types" menu, then click the button at the bottom (below "change". And a window comes up with actions for the folder. In there find "open" and click "by default" button on the right. Then click OK and "Apply". And then do that thing with FindeXer again to make it show up by default.

I didn't install the Finderbar so i can't remove it, but i applied registry tweak to reatore the treeview and go to step 2.

I also tried to install in safemode like someone suguested, but it does not fix the problem. The FindeXer is not the default of windows explorer. Please help me.

PS. I'm sorry if i bring the old issue back again.

Thanks

Re: FindeXer running problem.
uninstall and reinstall Findexer. Between the two actions, repeat step 2. And restart between uninstalling and reinstalling it...That should reset settings.

Re: Finder X
restore the treeview?
if findexer is running ok, open a window-click View-Explorer bar-Folders...
if you have Styler toolbar running, you can also place a 'folder' button in the toolbar, it would save you a few clicks...
