Little issue with Apple Mouse, M5769
Hello all members and guests! I just got Apple mouse, I think the model is M5769. It is totally working with my Windows XP Professional SP2 machine, but each time I rebute it, my computer starts to search and install drivers for this mouse. As I proceded further I found it "cannot find the file specified," so the "drivers will be uninstalled before restarting." How to either prevent the computer from doing that or where to find the drivers for this mouse.

The drivers should have been included on a CD in a box with the mouse itself.

You can try the Apple support forums about Windows compatibility at http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=687 or about old Apple hardware at http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=606.
Or try reinstalling your default mouse driver perhaps?
And you can ctrl-click your mouse just like on a Mac with this: http://www.geocities.com/pronto4u/applemouse.html

Re: Little issue with Apple Mouse, M5769
Te most interesting thing: now my Apple mouse is totally working. After 20 or 25 times of rebuting my system, when worked on it occasionally, the PC hhas finally found the proper drivers, and when yesterday, I turned it on, the mouse worked properly, with the function of right click.
