im pretty sure apple will expand from just cingular. Places like australia dnt have cingular so apple would have to find an allternative like Vodafone etc. But apple will eventualy go to other mobile service providers

Well... GSM is universal

My cellphone was from Cingular USA, now it works under Telefónica aka Movistar in Ecuador. lol
It can work on Telcel too

No. 1 cellphone company here...

I heard the rumor that Telcel will bring the iPhone to Mexico... and it will cost about $8000 pesos [$800 USD]

Too expensive, but damn... is the iPhone!
