hey all!
as some as you might kknow, i will be getting my mac very soon (macbook pro 17")
To get ready for the big change over from Mac OSX from Windows, i decioded to pre-download some free software off the website.. (limewire etc..)
they were downloaded as .dmg's which i believe is the equal to windows's ISO format.

I put these onto a disc, all ready to go into my new mac xD
i just need verification that this method would work, or if tehre is any other way that will work?

Double-click the DMGs and drag the files onto "Untitled CD". That should be your blank CD in your Mac.

Let me try to rephrase the question
"Can I burn DMG files to a CD on Windows?"
Yes. I did that the moment I got my Mac from the Apple Store, and burned like three CD's worth of Mac apps, preferences, music, pictures, and stuff. It works like a charm.
