Hi, everybody.

Recently, I heard a rumor (if you can call it a rumor) that the Mac Mini is "phazing out" along with the 17" iMac. Now, with the preview of Leopard's technological advancements out and the Mac mini being the only single-core processor computer left on the market, I'm not sure if the Mac mini will stay. Yet, I'm convinced the 17" iMac will stay. Please, somebody give feedback on this. I'll try to refine my theory. Thanks.

P.S. The reason I'm posting this is because the Mac mini is the kind of Mac I want, and if it goes away... *shudders*

EDIT: I also realized that Leopard needs a minimum of 512mb of RAM, which is how much Mac mini has. Somebody comment on this, too.

The Mac Mini now has two core's... not one.

As for the minimus requirement, where did you hear this from? I haven't seen any Apple announcements on it, and I think it's not true right now. I say this because the Mac OS is designed the run on 128 MB of RAM, and with only new graphical changes I can't see how it jumps to 512 MB.

It turns out that Apple may actually make a new Mac mini! The iMac is rumored to be coming out soon, and the 17" is being dropped. It's also said that THAT may become the new mid-ranged product! It can be found at this site on a previous post.
