Well, it seems unreasonable to purchase new Mac based on Intel chips though it costs a lot. Instead you can get a much cheaper X86 machine and install Darwin on it with, if I am not mistaken with minimum cost. Seems reasonable from Apple to close Darwin project.

First of all, they're not closing Darwin, they're just closing the Intel OSX Kernel. Also, that was just speculation - read this article for more information: http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=14668

That's interesting. I would imagine anyway that if Apple did, they would have it as an announcement on http://livepage.apple.com/ which I have not ever seen.
