The reason it looks like Windows is because it seems it's based on Windows. I installed WinEOS LX and took a look at the files on the hdd and I happend to find explorer.exe, winhelp.exe, and winlogon.exe just to name a few. I am still in the process of installing E/OS LX in bochs (slow computer), but from what I can see so far it is a rip off of Windows. Please do correct me/delete my post if I'm wrong as I still have yet to actually run the program.
