That doesn't sound nessecery, plus it will be quite expensive (you'll need to hire some one to upgrade).
Go into C
WINDOWS\ and then delete everything in the folder "Cache". Delete the stuff in that folder.
Your boot will be a bit slow, just restart a couple of times.
