iConstructor

iConstructor is a program to make high-res icons from 2 images (source and overlay). Source is used as a background, and overlay is transformed and drawn upon the source. This way you can easily make your own icons for specific folders or filetypes.

Features:
Smooth resizing, precise rotating and skewing effects for overlay
Transparency effect for overlay
Anti-aliased multiline text rendering with any of installed in your system TrueType fonts
Alignment, bold, italic or underlined styles and alpha-blending for text
Text shadow: text can have a blurred, semitransparent, coloured shadow.
New skinned Mac’ish interface, supporting XP visual styles as well
Output to PNGs with alpha-channel
ICO file writing ability (all my thanks to AndreasV!!!)
Drag-and-Drop capabilitites
100+ formats of images to import from
Multipage images are supported for import

System requirements
OS: Win9x, Win2k, WinXP or later with GDI+ redistributable installed (not included in distributon package; not necessary for WinXP, Win2k3);
DESKTOP: 1024×768 32bit recommended;

it constantly resizes to such a small window its impossible to reach anything. yet it is a VERY useful application

Love this program. Ever since IconBox tho, I have only been using it to convert my icons back into PNGs. If only IconBox could do that as well….
